From Matt Groening, aka the father of Futurama and The Simpsons, comes this R-rated, tongue-in-cheek, animated sitcom which revolves around the (mis)adventures of Bean, Elfo, and Luci. Set in Dreamland, a not-so-fantastic magical kingdom, Bean, the ‘fairest princess of the land’ who also happens to have an alcohol addiction, being the main character. Humorous, acidic, and altogether not family-friendly.
The first season of Disenchantment has been released on the 17th of August and has ten episodes.

2. The OA

The OA has everything a geek looks for in a great Netflix series – interdimensional travel, mysterious disappearances, and a story to match. This Netflix original tells the story of Prairie Johnson, a woman who vanishes without a trace from her adoptive home. After seven years of desperate searches, Johnson returns to her family. However, there seems to be something different about her.
An FBI investigation reveals that Johnson, who was blind before she disappeared, somehow managed to get her eyesight back. But that’s not the only thing wrong with this picture. The young woman’s body is covered in surgical scars and seems to have ditched her name, instead referring to herself as The OA. Things take an unexpected turn as Johnson somehow manages to open up an interdimensional portal in a bid to save the lives of her friends.
3. GHOUL

GHOUL, a Netflix newcomer, comes to prove that there’s more to Indian cinematography than flashy dances, songs, and badass heroes bending the laws of physics. This horror miniseries focuses on the capture of a prisoner and his trip to a secret military installation for interrogation.
As he’s forced inside the narrow room by his captors and coaxed into telling them everything he knows, this unlikely hero spills out some painful truths about the facility. However, this is not the only thing he reveals.
Nida Rahim, the prisoner’s interrogator, will soon have to take a crash-course in the supernatural, as some of the inmates are more than they appear to be. The first episode of GHOUL is aired on the 24th of August.
4. Magic for Humans
There are still so many things to be said when it comes to magic. No, not the kind where you summon fireballs or creatures, but about real magic which relies on clever tricks and illusions. If you are the kind of person who appreciates magic and comedy, then we cordially invite you to view Netflix’s latest reality show called Magic for Humans.
There’s hardly a plot here – Justin Wilman, a young and talented magician, who spent most of his life teaching people how to enjoy magic, travels around the city to amaze random people. Combining comedy with illusions that will surely make your brain stop a couple of times, this show is the exact thing you need for that Saturday night chill.
5. Sierra Burgess Is a Loser

If your idea of relaxation involves something on the cultural side, then you should definitely not miss Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, a modern-day reinterpretation of Cyrano de Bergerac’s unrequited love for Roxanne, his intelligent and drop-dead gorgeous cousin. Moving away from 17th-century England, we arrive in a 21st-century American high school, where two people fall madly in love after unsuccessfully trying to win the hearts of their crushes.
More specifically, the most popular and charming girl in high school ends up teaming with the school’s biggest loser. This unlikely partnership isn’t without benefits, as both must help each other in order to win the affections of the people they fell in love with. This Netflix series has everything you need – a dash of drama, romance, friendship, humor, and, yes, even music.
The first season is set to air on the 7th of September 2018 in the United States.
