Need some quality superhero content to make you feel better after Avengers: Infinity War? Well the folks over at Digital Playground has provided fans with The Finisher which seems inspired by good ol Punisher!
Starring Skylar Snow, Dana DeArmond, Dolly Leigh, Michael Vegas and Johnny Castle as the titular ‘Finisher’, the film’s synopsis explores one man’s obsession with serving justice: “After the vicious murder of his wife, the Finisher is out for revenge! As he picks off his wife’s killers one by one, the remaining men plot the Finisher’s own demise.” Rounding out the cast is a special cameo appearance by legendary male performer, Evan Stone, as the Evil CEO.
The cast and crew had nothing but good things to say about shooting the latest parody, but it was the series’ fight scenes that were the unanimous standout. Michael Vegas went so far to say, “I had inadvertently been preparing for this role my entire life. Growing up playing with my friends, one of my favorite pastimes was choreographing fight scenes and having fake epic gun battles to save damsels.”
Between the stunts and the sex, The Finisher: A DP XXX Parody’s cast agreed that this was one of the more physically demanding shoots they had ever been a part of. Dana DeArmond, meanwhile, was presented with a different challenge in a refreshingly exciting role: “I had no blood or stunts in this movie but I did get to pretend to shoot people, that was pretty fun to play a badass. I usually get cast as a goofy milf or zany teacher.”
Dana DeArmond also had the pleasure of helping Evan Stone shake off some of his rust, recounting that Evan accidentally “misread the script and thought he had a fight scene with me. While he and I were exchanging some dialogue I said to him, ‘Wow, you’re playing a really bad guy in this series! It’s kind of scary!’ To which he replied, ‘Oh yeah, I’m gonna kick [some ass] later!’ I assumed he was just being method, but as I was leaving set that day, he asked about our big fight scene. His fight scene was with Dolly Leigh, not me. It was a funny misunderstanding. We had such a big laugh. That guy cracks me up.”
Porn in general becomes a lot more socially acceptable when you use terms like “Erotic Fan Fiction”. I have to give Digital Playground credit where it is due, it is one thing to create an inciting set of scenes but it is a whole other ball game to theme an entire film/series off of an already existing franchise. They throw down time and effort for props, costumes, setting, and the actors have to then learn lines and the script overall.
Keep on doing your thing, Digital Playground!
