Dungeon Master for Hire!
Looking for a fun night of tabletop gaming with your dear friends? Look no further than DeAngelo for help! DeAngelo Murillo has been a Dungeon Master for over a decade playing several RPGs and having a blast while doing it. Over the many years, he has become adept in the art of storytelling and the mechanics of popular games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Apocalypse, Kids on Bikes, and more.
One of the hardest parts about playing tabletop games is finding someone who knows how to play enough to be the Dungeon Master, let alone gathering friends together to have a proper game. Hiring DeAngelo as your Dungeon Master helps alleviate a lot of these pain points. Whether you have never played before or you are a veteran, you’ll have a fantastic time!
All you have to do is pick what day and time is best for you, how many players you’ll have (Up to 6), and if you have a location to play in person or if you would rather play on Discord from the comfort of your own home. (Note: Discord requires a good internet connection/mic to be enjoyable.)
What to Expect
If you have never played a tabletop RPG, imagine sitting at a table with friends and a Dungeon Master is setting the scene verbally. At any moment a player interrupts the narrator to advise that their character will do a specific action. The Dungeon Master requests a roll of the dice to see if their action is successful or fails and then the Dungeon Master reacts to the input.
You have the ability to interact with the story in almost any way you see fit but must face the relevant consequences or rewards. While the rules are the foundation of the game, they can be bent to allow for some awesome moments! The players will show kindness and respect to each other outside of the game without any sort of judgment or annoyance. Totally role-play as little or as much as you want, the table will be a safe environment for all!
The play style DeAngelo favors is called Theater of the Mind where the game is showcased via word of mouth. This allows for more playtime due to the lack of set up or scene shifts and offers more creativity by not being restricted by any tiles.
Payment
The fee is $30 for a max of 4 hours and 5 players.
There is a $10 deposit to be paid at sign up. If DeAngelo has to cancel the session for any reason, the deposit will be refunded.
