Batkid Begins: I NEVER ASKED FOR FEELS
The movie, “Batkid Begins,” details the events of Nov. 15, 2013, when 25,000 people in San Francisco turned up to help grant Miles Scott, 5, his wish to become Batman for a day.
Just as the caption states, there is a small, young, innocent geek who was diagnosed with Leukemia. His tiny heart yearned to be batman and the make a wish foundation complied in a huge way by taking a chunk of San Francisco and turning it into Gotham willed of bad guys for young Miles dressed as Batman partnered with another batman and together they solved puzzles, rescued civilians, and fought crime. I was lucky enough to watch the live stream of this event and it was incredible.
It was an awesome move on everyone’s part from the foundation taking up this challenge, to social media catching on and supporting the event and the city being kind enough to cut off traffic for a time. I can not wait to see this film when it comes out!
There are plenty of feels to be had!
