Blade Runner 2049 Is Fantastic In Every Way
Blade Runner 2049 Is Fantastic In Every Way
When Blade Runner released in June 25th, 1982 it changed so many aspects of science fiction cinema with it’s dark tones, concepts and mysteries. It focused on a dystopian future where slave labor is carried out by replicants who are manufactured humans. After heavy investigation it is revealed who is a replicant and who is not, the entire journey is wonderful and often requires multiple viewings in order to fully understand certain aspects.
When Blade Runner 2049 was announced it caused many people to groan in frustration at yet another classic film getting a sequel. The cast of Blade Runner 2049 consisted of Ryan Gosling as K, with Robin Wright as Lieutenant Joshi, Ana de Armas as Joi and more. There is a lot of star power in this film and everyone does such a fantastic job in their respective roles. Unfortunately due to the review requests, I am not allowed to talk about any of the details of the film but I can say that is is wonderful.Â
What I can talk about is the fact that the visuals in Blade Runner 2049 are some of the best science fiction can far thus far. Although this story does not take us to other worlds or dimensions, it can offer a realm of endless possibilities with but the details of a few cities. From the concepts of what future advertisements would look like to the fashion of the near future, uniforms for civil servants and so much more.
The soundtrack for Blade Runner 2049 is wonderful and we should expect nothing less from the hard work and dedication of Hans Zimmer. While a scene can be enhanced by special effects, good looking actors, and more, it is always the audio that makes or breaks films for me. The right instrument played in such a way can escalate a scene or calm it no matter what might actually be happening.
While I can not discuss a majority of the film I can not recommend seeing this film enough. It is one of, if not the best film, that has come out thus far. You absolutely need to go and check out Blade Runner 2049 as soon as possible because it will blow your mind! I know this isn’t the best review but due to the requests made by the film makers a lot was kept under wraps which should be a huge red flag that this film is packed with a lot of awesome content!
