Dreams Do Come True: Interviewing Stephen Cardenas the Red Ranger

I remember the days of old where the greatest joy that could be found was in an episode of Power Rangers. A villain of terrible power would come upon a small town with the intent of destroying any who stood in their path. In order to save innocents, a group of friends would use alien technology to become the Power Rangers and defend Earth. Despite encountering various conflicts that would sometimes require multiple episodes, they would eventually overcome the odds with the power of friendship and/or a giant mech.

For the Power Rangers, they came in various colors and had different skill sets to help with whatever situation arose. They were typically led by the Red Ranger who would shoulder the responsibilities of the team and make the hard calls. Obviously as kids, many of us aspired to have the courage to resolve struggles like he did or to rally the team from being down trodden to knowing they could overcome anything.

Imagine my surprise when years later, one of the same Red Rangers that I watched growing up would be someone we got to sit down with and chat with! At Emerald City Comic Con our staff member Tidesiren interviewed Stephen Cardenas who played Rocky Desantos, the second Red Ranger!
