We, here at The Geek Lyfe, try our very best to use our talents and resources to raise money for those in need! Every year, since The Geek Lyfe began, we have participated in Extra Life and supported Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and every year we would play Dungeons & Dragons. However, we found that getting together with friends to fend off evil doers with might and magic was incredible! So, we decided to make an entire event around spending time with homies, while encouraging others to donate to a great cause! That’s why we created our semi-annual Dungeons & Dragons Charity Events!
Your contributions alter the story
Every single act has a specific donation goal if we meet that goal then an iconic monster is summoned to terrorize the heroes! Names of NPCs will be named after donators and at the end of each act, the viewers vote on whether or not the guests live, die, or betray the main cast members!

The Adventure
The Queendom of Malaran
To the south of the Balminos Empire resides a forest deliberately avoided by the wisest of men. The forest spans far and wide that some tales suggest if you were to travel by foot through the land, it would take you an entire year to see the other side. However, other tales tell of Fey magic being the culprit for casting tricks and illusions to those who dare enter.
Long ago this once was the home of High Elves whose Queendom shared the same name. Malaran, known for being adept in the ways of the arcane. With their knowledge, they used it to help less developed races, however, soon after it was discovered just how powerful their understanding was, the mortal races sounded the drums of war and marched on the peaceful Queendom.
Legends tell that every force that stood against the Queendom had been decimated. The final Queen was said to have been so heartbroken that their peers were not ready for this knowledge that they needed to leave or conquer. It is said that a Dwarven merchant happened to be visiting the Queendom at that time and saw the Queen. Though he originally came to barter furs and gems, when he saw the Queen so full of despair he decided to try and cheer her up by telling her about Ancient Dwarven bells.
The Bells of Thurmlo. They were said to be so loud that the world would spit you out and into a new one. Thurmlo and his entire clan visited other worlds again and again and again until he finally came back home after 100 years. He had said he was so terrified of the experience that he shattered the bells. Though the tall dwarven tale was to alleviate her stress for a moment, she took it with complete seriousness.
The Queen raided Dwarven clans, enslaving bards and historians who had any information on the bells. Some say she never found them and instead made her own. Others say she did find them and used them. Then, of course, folks say neither is true but what is a fact is that the entire Queendom has disappeared completely. The only reminder of their existence is an unnatural clearing in the forest.
The Forest of Malaran is so rich with Fey that the trees can not be cut by ordinary means. Legendary weapons and armor have been forged by the same wood however the technique in harvesting the material has been lost.
This is where Outpost Bronzebeard lies. The Emerald Templars set up a station to monitor the land just in case. With rumors that Northerners have begun worshipping devils, the Queendoms of Callion being exposed for the use of Witchcraft, and Centaur clans practicing chaos magic, it seemed fair to keep an eye on the infamous land.
ACT I – The Forgotten Gardens
When the Queendom appears before them and they have no way to escape, the only choice is to go deeper.
ACT II – A Feast Fit for a Queen
After so many years the traditions of dinner partys might seem…exotic.
ACT III – Godspeed You Emerald Templars
Surely in this ebon keep the one person who might be able to help is the wisest and fairest of them all.
The Emerald Templars are a group of men and women from across the land of Eraphat who have sworn to protect the common folk from the terrors of chaos magic. They devot their lives to protecting the realm using what skills they posess. They don’t seek riches, land, titles, or any material posessions that could distract them from their goal.
However they aren’t all just due to the fact that joining the Emerald Templars does pardon a person from all crimes, offers food, shelter, and more. This has attracted quite a few unsavory characters from joining their ranks but with the help of contract spells, order is kept one way or another.
The Emerald Lord
Long ago, the land had been overwhelmed with chaos magic. From coast to coast kingdoms suffered or welcomed the likes of Necromancy, Demonology, Elemental, Witchcraft, and more. The ability to obtain immense power caused the woe of many. Those who tried to stand against those foul enough to embrace the dark magics often attempted to use an alternate dark magic and fell to its curroption.
It wasn’t until the birth of a human by the name of Lucius Dovencroft that turned the tide. From an early age the boy possessed the power to help others find the courage to stand up for what is right, an unnatural charisma that many could not resist. When he grew into a man, so did his powers as they filled however swore an oath to him with awesome might. That oath was to always stand up against what is terrible in the world so that their children may live in peace. To signify their allegiance to the cause, Lucius gave them asignet encrusted with an emrald gem. They turned around and deemed him their Emerald Lord and they his Templars.
With his strength and willing few they began to cleanse the land of all that was foul. The lords of chaos magic chose to fight amongst one another rather than ally despite the unstoppable conquest of the Emerald Templars. One by one tey fell until no others dare use foul magic and from then on it was outlawed for all by the Emerald Templars. No one from the poorest madwomen lying in her flith on teh street nor a queen who wields the mightest of armies may use chaos magic.
When all acknowledged the power of the Emerald Lord, they deemed their faction legitimate and the known world welcomes their aid and passage in their lands. peace had been experienced across the land until finally the Emerald Lord sat on his throne and fell into a deep coma. With the aid of seers and Templar commanders, their force still maintained order.
The Death of the Emerald Lord
For a century the Emerald Lord sat upon his throne, offering his power to his followers and guided them through the use of seers. However one day a group of Templars all got a vision, given to them by the Lord himself about rescuing three prisoners. After doing as commanded the visions continued which led them to two areas.
The Emerald Templars had been divided by the meaning of these visions and wh they had not come from the seers themselves. Still they carried out the will of their Lord and found that both areas had been overwhelmed with chaos magic that had been missed. When word came that something is wrong with their order and the way they treated the Emerald Lord, tension exploded into accusations of heresy.
Those who sought the truth had been led by Emerald High Commander Loddie who discovered that the Emerald Seers sworn to voice the command of their Lord had been the very same who imprisoned and paralyzed their leader. After a hard fought battle the Emerald Lord had been freed from his prisoner but severely damaged and weak. He begged for death and Knight Commander Loddie provided.
Upon his last breath, every single Emerald Templar lost their awesome might and returned to their normal strength. With the Emerald Lord gone, the faction began to splinter off. Leaving their forces divided and vulnerable. In this time, chaos magic began to soar once again.

Under new command, Loddie led her loyalists to cover what ground became challenged by emerging factions looking to overwhelm the land. The neighboring Queendoms offered their firstborns but Loddie dismissed the notion, requesting only volunteers. When so few came forward, they offered pardons to their criminals who had be condemned to a life in the dungeon or stasis. Many came forward under contract spells of death or obedience.
With a new surge of forces composed of the willing and unsavory they have held their groudn against the forces of darkness. However the battle ever hangs by a thread as more and more people turn to chaos magic as a way to obtain power to ensure victories over their foes.

The Adventure
Despite having their own, very different, personal histories and journeys, our main cast finds themselves working for the Emerald Templars, for various reasons. Once famous for their crusade against anything they deemed to be a threat to society, utilizing any means necessary, their order is now in shambles. The land is devastated by chaos magic of all sorts. They must use their unique skill sets, in order to overcome the terrible conflicts ahead. Viewers will be able to vote on what happens in the story line, via polls we’ll be setting up on Twitter!
