Fortnite – Practice with The Charge Shotgun in Creative Mode

There is never a bad time to get some practice in when It comes to video games. After all, practice makes perfect, especially when it comes to games such as Fortnite. A lot of hard work and grind has to go into the title if you want to achieve victory royale, and keep in mind you can also do so by keeping an eye on your performances with tools such as the Fortnite Tracker

On the subject of practicing, there is a Fortnite weapon in the game known as the Charge Shotgun, and you can use a rather unique tactic to get your chops up with it. Before we get onto the method behind it, let’s first take a look at just what the Charge Shotgun is all about.

What is the Charge Shotgun?

The Charge Shotgun is a recent member of the shotgun family in Fortnite. It uses shells as ammunition, and comes in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic variants. It was added as a replacement for the Pump Shotgun, and has a headshot multiplier of 1.5, and certainly packs a punch. Speaking of variants, it is actually the first shotgun to be available in all six different rarities.

This Fortnite weapon is considered to be a standout weapon because of its charge ability. This makes it the first shotgun type to have this technique, in which you simply hold down the fire button to charge up the weapon to inflict even more damage on your opponent. It only takes a second to charge, and you can even use it as a normal shotgun if you don’t have the time to charge it up. If you do charge it, you are looking at dishing out 155 damage with the Mythic variant, or 232 if you manage to get a headshot with it.

Availability

As far as the availability of the Fortnite weapon goes, you can find anything from Common up to Legendary variants from floor loot up to upgrading, and keep your eye on rare and henchman chests too. For the Mythic variant, you will need to head over to Catty Corner and complete the obstacles that you come across there in order to get your hands on it.

Using the Charge Shotgun in Creative Mode

Now that you have a bit of background on the Charge Shotgun, here is a tip on how you can use the Fortnite weapon in Creative Mode to give yourself the upper hand by getting some training in. To start with, open up Fortnite Creative Mode, then choose ‘play’ when the next set of options come up. This will take you to the creative hub area, where you will be able to enter a map code at one of the consoles. Head over and enter 0983-1895-2785.

After you have made your way into the map, you will then want to check out the chests over on the side of the map. Inside, you will find the Charge Shotgun, so pull out your newly found weapon and start practising. This will give you a distinct advantage over your fellow players, as it gives you more time to get used to the new weapon before heading out into the fields of battle. Not only will many not be using this tactic compared to those that do, and all the new players that are coming to the game all the time, you are giving yourself a head start over your competition.

So, there you have it. That is how you can use the latest addition to the shotgun family by heading into Creative Mode. This is bound to improve your Fortnite stats down the line, as you are racking up the kills and victories with all the preparations that you will be making. Also remember, you can use Fortnite Tracker tools online to keep an even closer eye on your progress, so keep that in mind if you want to keep upping your game.
