Interview with Jakejames Lugo
We are forever and always looking to feature wonderful content creators for our fans to check out! Today we have an interview for you with the fantastic Jakejames Lugo!
Could you introduce yourself and your brand?
My name is Jakejames Lugo. I’m a content creator and game media personality that creates a variety of content online related to video games. I enjoy being part of the conversation about video games and everything related to it. I post a lot of content online weekly including reviews, let’s plays, podcasts shows, unboxings, and more!
What is your origin story?
My story begins early in my life, with my first video game being Sonic the Hedgehog on SEGA Genesis. Years later, I decided to get into making content for YouTube, which led to me joining websites to write and create video content about games and the games industry. From there, I was able to post content on websites like Real Otaku Gamer, Shifted2U, The Koalition, PlayBoy, IGN, as well as other outlets. As of now, I’ve been part of the games industry for more than 10 years, discussing and talking about video games and the games industry.
What separates you from the rest?
What makes me different from most people who post content online about games is that I aim to be fair and insightful with the content I make. When I make a video or an editorial, I want the viewer/reader to take something from it. I’m not trying to push my views onto people, nor am I trying to condescend with my point of view about games, I’m simply trying to convey my thoughts to better inform the audience. That way they can formulate their own opinion from what I give them. There are way too many people who try to impose their view onto others about video games, and I’m not trying to be like that.
Out of all the content you have created, which is your favorite?
I enjoy making reviews and podcasts related to games. The reviews I make I feel are fair and give a complete overview of the titles I cover, allowing people to be informed and judge whether a game is for them or not. The podcasts are fun conversations where me and another individual get to dee[ dive into a topic, almost freestyle into a conversation about something that can be insightful for the audience. I have a lot of fun with those when I can resonate with another person and just talk about something interesting.
How can folks support you?Â
The best way to support me is by either subscribing on YouTube or joining my Patreon page. Both of these allow me to continue making content on YouTube and posting video game-related content online via social media. Showing support for content creators and media personalities is very important if you enjoy seeing the content they create. Watching videos on YouTube is especially important since a lot of work goes into creating videos for people to enjoy, including the new Metal Gear Solid EPIC series I’ve started on YouTube.
Where can we find you online?
The best place to find me online would be on YouTube, on Twitter, on Instagram, and on my Patreon, I post a ton of content nearly every day on all platforms, giving a ton of game-related content for people to enjoy.
