Nerd News with Bytes N’ Brews Episode 4: The Game Awards & Avengers: Endgame Trailer

This week, in Nerd News, we’ve got a lot to talk about and not a lot of topics. First up:

The Game Awards

God of War walked away with a couple awards, including the most coveted, Game of the Year. And basically the other half of the awards went to Red Dead Redemption 2. Both of these games also made it to our Top 5 games of 2018. Funnily enough, all five of those games are console games. Congrats! You just saved a couple of hours of watching The Game Awards.

Now, onto bigger and more exciting things.

Men In Black International

Just kidding. We just found it funny that this teaser decided to launch right after Avengers, and it stars Thor (Chris Hemsworth), AND Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), AND is a Marvel comic project. But at this time, all we have is Hemsworth’s Instagram post “announcement.”

Avengers: Endgame

I could talk about this trailer for hours and hours, but it’s something you have just got to watch for yourself. Trailers nowadays tend to make a horrible mistake of showing you the entire plot of the movie. But Endgame… this trailer is perfection. It does a great job of setting a tone, and revealing nothing to us. I mean other than Ronin, which we all knew was coming. Check out the trailer below, and then talk to me about it until April, when we get to watch this masterpiece.
