Overwatch Unveils New Haitian Healer Hero: Baptiste
Mobilize alongside the combat medic who made the shrewd decision to make the world a better place, one bandage… or bullet at a time: Baptiste.
If the folks over at Blizzard are good at anything, it is introducing some fantastic new content! Baptiste is the latest hero to arrive on the popular online game, Overwatch. Baptiste is a combat medic able to not only help his allies but also deal some decent damage to enemy players!
His abilities are quite unique!
Baptiste’s main attack fire is his Medic SMG. It’s a three-round-burst weapon that deals decent damage.
His alt fire is the Biotic Launcher. It is similar to Zarya’s alt-fire, that heal allies near where it lands. However, the Biotic Launcher does not heal himself.
His passive is Exo Boots. This ability propels him in the air. This is ideal for players to position Baptiste to support allies in their skirmishes.
Regenerative Burst is something that will be seen constantly from players. This is a heal-over-time effect for both himself and nearby allies. Once activated, players can move anywhere and still be healed by this ability.
Baptiste already seems like a fantastic character both in design and moves! We’re excited to see how Overwatch will change with this addition!
