The Future is Millennial Pink! New Official Brand Colors!
We here at The Geek Lyfe strive to always make a better tomorrow. We’ve been working hard to find ways to improve ourselves and our content but getting better equipment, work harder on content creation, collaborate with fantastic people and more!
Recently we have been going over the website, and after 8 long years of running The Geek Lyfe, I think it is time for some bold change. That is why we have decided to move forward with replacing our traditional green and black color scheme with black and pink! But not just any ol’ shade of pink, but millennial pink.
Why?
The entire staff is made up of millennials. We were brought into this world at this time, had experiences that most of which were thrust upon us, and yet we are judged so harshly by society because of it. Nowadays ‘Millennials’ is a terms used to degrade our generation often times associated with laziness, anxiety, entitlement, and more.
We are believed to be the most inferior of all of the generations when really none of this was our fault. We did not craft this world we grew up in, it was made prior to our arrival and now we must navigate through harsh storms and survive immense pressure. Many of us went to college thinking it would better us only to find crippling debt. We were brought up to believe the people chose their elected officials when really there is a complex web of bullshit resulting in the major choices being no one we actually want to vote for.
As we fight tooth and nail to change the status quo by marching in the streets, voicing our opinions without reserve, taking pride in what and who we love without shame we continue to be belittled by our peers of older generations. It is because of this reason that we shall rise up. No amount of accusations can change the fact that we are causing rapid positive change in our society. We shall take the insult thrown into our faces daily and use it on our flag, our shirts, our business cards and so much more.
We shall let everyone know that we are unafraid of the opinions of others as we continue to battle for equality in representation for those who are constantly overlooked. The future is pink, millennial pink.
