What is Pathfinder?
If you are in the tabletop role-playing community, chances are you’ve become curious about more indie games. To assist, we are bringing you information on one of the largest fantasy TTRPG games in the industry: Pathfinder! Pathfinder is a tabletop role-playing game that was created by Paizo Publishing in 2009 and is based on the 3.5 edition of Dungeons and Dragons. The game is set in a medieval fantasy world and players create characters that explore battle monsters and complete quests. At this current moment, there are two editions of the game, one is most like D&D 3.5 and the other is more of their own original system.
Players have the option of choosing from a variety of character classes, such as barbarian, bard, cleric, druid, fighter, monk, paladin, ranger, rogue, sorcerer, and wizard. Each class has its own unique set of skills, abilities, and powers that can be used to help the group complete its goals.
Pathfinder also features a wide variety of monsters and creatures that inhabit the world. These creatures range from goblins and orcs to dragons and giants. Players can also find a variety of magical items throughout the game, such as weapons and armor, as well as powerful magical artifacts. There is a wealth of options and supplements available for players to use and enjoy!
The game also features a large number of spells that can be used to help characters in battle or to complete certain tasks. Spells range from healing spells to powerful offensive spells that can be used to defeat foes. That way magic users can have separate but unique experiences without ever feeling as though their class is stale.
