Lord, when A Quiet Place released in theaters, I was beside myself in fear the whole time. In 2018 during a press screening with a dear friend of mine by the name of Mat, from indie Horror Podcast The Final Boys, I watched it through fingers. A Quiet Place had been the ultimate trap featuring a dystopian world on top of characters you can’t help but grow fond of.
If they hear you, they hunt you. A family must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures that hunt by sound. Knowing that even the slightest whisper or footstep can bring death, Evelyn and Lee are determined to find a way to protect their children while desperately searching for a way to fight back.
Now they have announced a sequel to the film called A Quiet Place Part II which will release in theaters nationwide on March 20th, 2020.
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
