ISACA – Combines Skills Training for the Cyber Security with Examinations and Certifications Based on Practical Operation Firstly

These seven new Cyber security Nexus (CSX) certifications help professionals plan and grow their careers improvement in an ever-changing field, while helping employers cover the shortage of the skills. Global Knowledge, a leading provider in the field of the IT and business skills training, is the first training provider licensed by ISACA to deliver the CSX portfolio, which would open in the third quarter of 2015.
According to “The State of Cyber Security: Impact in 2015,” a study by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the RSA Conference, 82 percent of organizations expect to be vulnerable to cyber attacks in 2015, while 35 percent are unable to fill vacant cyber security positions. Fewer than a half of the organizations believe their existing security teams are capable of detecting and responding to complex incidents. In addition, according to the Report on the Work of the Cyber Security 2014 released by Cisco, there are still one million network security positions unfilled worldwide. CSX Practitioner demonstrates the ability to act as a personnel who can respond to network security events in the first place according to established procedures and defined processes. CSX Specialists demonstrates effective skills and deep knowledge in one or more of the five areas (Identification, Detection, Protection, Response, and Recovery) closely related to the Cyber Security Framework of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. (It includes five certifications and five training courses. It requires the qualification of the CSX Practitioner)
CSX Expert demonstrates the capabilities of a Master/Expert level cyber security professional to identify, analyze, respond to, and resolve complex cyber security incidents. (It includes one certification and one training course. There is no preconditions.)
These new certifications are in line with globally recognized standards and frameworks, including the Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security of the NIST, NIST SP 800-53 Edition 4, ISO 27000 and the COBIT 5 framework.

Certification Situation and the Future Education
The certification training of the CSX Practitioner will be offered in June 2015, with the exam scheduled for July. In addition to the learning based on the professional knowledge, continuous professional education (CPE) requires the licensee to demonstrate skills annually in a laboratory or other skills-based setting.
